Mission
We believe that today’s social products and companies are broken. They lost their way overtime and no longer serve their users best interests. We know we can do better and believe the world deserves better.
We want to get back to what social networks initially set out to accomplish — strengthening real relationships first and foremost before the mission statements became connecting the world.
We want to help people without consuming all of their time behind screens and we want to give them a platform to be themselves without needing to compete with brands and celebrities. In doing so, we believe that we can create a stronger business than Meta or Bytedance and one that is net positive to society.
Team
amo is founded by a group of ex Zenly team members, including its CEO and Cofounder, Antoine Martin. Having sold to Snap in 2017, the team continued to run Zenly as an independent entity following the acquisition, scaling it to become the biggest ever social network in Europe. At its peak, Zenly generated more downloads than Twitter and Discord and was beloved by its community of 40 million active users around the world.
In Person First
We believe that working onsite is the only way to build game changing social products. Impromptu interactions with team members allow us to come up with more ideas and iterate on them faster than if we were individually at home — compounding to higher velocity as a company. Plus it's more fun to be together and ultimately the best ideas can come from anyone at anytime.
Our office, ideally located in the 2nd arrondissement, is one of the best in Paris. With high ceilings, tons of light, and a bunch of Parisian character, the space enables everyone to work how they work best. We also always communicate, both written and orally, in English.

If the above piques your interest, and you’re into working in a demanding environment with high ownership, wide scope, and big impact, we want to hear from you.
